WOODWARD, Okla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 5, 2006--Advanced Powerline Technologies, Inc., (Pink Sheets:APWL - News) announces today the completion of the first test of the company's new Power Line Communications (PLC) chip set.


Advanced Powerline Technologies, Inc., Chairman and CEO, Jack Lin, reports today the completion of the first test of the company's new Power Line Communications (PLC) chip set for camera security systems. This new chip set is designed for use in the company's PLC product lines, including a security system for homes and small businesses. This system can handle real time video from multiple cameras and transmit the video through the existing power line platform.

The company further reported that products designed using this new chip set will allow monitoring of a number of key locations with real time video transmitted through the buildings existing A/C power lines to a single display, eliminating the need for dedicated video cabling. The company is excited about the new cutting edge technology embodied in this new chip set and the potential for new and innovative PLC product lines that it will make possible.
